GERMAINE PIETTE - Woonsocket
GERMAINE PIETTE, 89, of 28 Blue Stone Drive, a homemaker and former store owner, died yesterday at home. She was the wife of William A. Piette. They had been married for 65 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Delphis and Arcella (Archanbault) Lavallee. Mrs. Piette had owned and operated the Wayside Store in Bellingham, Mass., from 1953 to 1956. She was a communicant of All Saints Parish, formerly St. Louis Church. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Normand A. Piette of Woonsocket; a sister, Juliette Gervais of Lincoln; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Gerald Piette, and sister of the late Claire Badeau. The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St.
