Justina Elizabeth (Heil) Gruling, passed away Feb. 6, 1977 at 613 Forest St. Wausau, WI, She was born 05 Feb. 1920 in the town of Marathon, Marathon Co. WI. Justina was the daughter of John and Justina (Gasner) Heil. On Oct. 23, 1939, Justina Heil married Walter Gruling at St. Mary's rectory in Marathon. They both worked for a prominent family in Fox Point — Walter as a butler, chauffeur and handyman, and Justina as a maid and cook. Later, in 1941, they purchased the farm in the town of Wausau where they continued to farm until their retirement in 1976. Justina and Walter Gruling had one son David Lee (Kathy) Gruling. Justina was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau, WI.
