Mr. Joseph Mackle Brown, age 75, of Reynolds Road, North Wilkesboro died Monday, November 7, 2011 at Westwood Hill Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 3:00, Sunday, November 13, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. John A. Speaks officiating. Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
Mr. Brown was born in Wilkes County, on September 28, 1936, to Samuel Roosevelt and Blanche Barnes Brown.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Denise Brown, a son, Joseph Darrell Brown; two brothers Pressley and Bill Brown.
Mr. Brown is survived by two daughters, Tina Brown of Roaring River and Melissa Aguilar of Terre Haute, IN; one son, Michael Brown of Boomer; two sisters, Margie Wells and Pearlie Brown both of North Wilkesboro; two brothers, Gordon Brown of Chicago, IL and Kenneth Brown of Campbell, OH; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
