Frank W. Ribbeck, 72, of 248 North St., Plymouth, died at Plymouth Hospital today following an illness of one day.
He was born July 8, 1894, in Sheboygan Falls the son of the late Mr. and Mars. John Ribbeck, and was married to Alma Leider in the town of Liberty, Manitowoc County, Sept. 11, 1915. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1965.
He attended Sheboygan Falls schools and moved to Manitowoc at the age of 15. He was manager of the Wisconsin Public Service Corp. offices in Manitowoc 11 years and at Plymouth for eight years.
After that he was employed at Kraft food at Plymouth for nine years and then at Kohler for 13 years, retiring in 1960. For the last three years he was custodian for the Plymouth Building Association.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran church of Plymouth.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Lester, Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Alice) Letchworth, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Leo (Delores) Bowen, Plymouth; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a brother, Otto, Union Grove.
Funeral services will be at Wittkopp Funeral Home with burial in Plymouth Union Cemetery.
