SPRINGVILLE--Paul Chase Miner, 88, died December 17, 1977.

Born January 5, 1889, Springville, to Moroni and Nancy Elizabeth Chase Miner. Married Ethel Banker December 20, 1912, St. George LDS Temple. She died in 1952. Married Laura Shepherd May 14, 1953, Manti LDS Temple. Former resident, Bunkersville, Nevada; Lyman, Wyoming, and Bakersfield, California. Active member LDS Church in all places he has lived. Received Bachelor's Degree from BYU and Master's Degree at University of Utah; former school teacher and superintendent.

Survivors: wife, Springville; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Miner Hartley, Provo; Mrs. Ina Miner Pitcher, Springville; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edith Teasdale Miner, Springville; __grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Thursday 11 a.m. at the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel. Springville, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
