Albuardus B. Frey, eighty-two, Mount Joy R2, near Mt. Pleasant died at 7:15 p.m. yesterday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Christian Wolgemuth, East Donegal Township, after an illness of two months. His parents were the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Bear Frey, and he was a member of the Masonville Mennonite Church for the past twenty-four years. He is survived by his wife, who before marriage, was Martha Herr of Florin; seven children, Anna, wife of Jacob M. Schock, Washington Boro R1; Ada, wife of Christian Wolgemuth, with whom he lived; Cecelia, wife of Graybill Wolgemuth, Mount Joy R2; Furry H. Frey, and J. Mowery Frey, both of Lancaster R4; Emma, wife of James A. Painter, Lancaster; Martha, wife of Ira D. Heller, Mount Joy R2; his step-mother, Mrs. Cecelia I. Frey, Mt. Gretna; twenty grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. He was the last of his family. (Lancaster New Era - May 10, 1944)
