Calvin A. Wildasin, 71, Dies At Black Rock Home
Black Rock – Calvin Arthur Wildasin, 71, husband of Mrs. Sallie Stremmel Wildasin, died suddenly at 7 a.m. yesterday at his home here. Coroner Lester J. Sell attributed death to a heart condition.
A resident of this community for 28 years, Mr. Wildasin was a member and a deacon at Black Rock Church of the Brethren. He was an employee of the Pennsylvania Highway Department.
Surviving besides his wife are: Two children, Mark A. Wildasin, this place, and Mrs. Henry E. Miller, Brodbeck RD 1; a step-daughter, Mrs. John H. Runk, here; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and five brothers and sisters, Daniel Wildasin, Lineboro RD; Horatio Wildasin, Brodbeck; Mrs. Pius Dubs, Hampstead, Md.; Mrs. John Greenplate, Spring Grove RD, and Mrs. John Thomas, Glen Rock RD.
The funeral will be held Saturday, with brief services at the late home at 1:30 p.m. and concluding rites at Black Rock Church of the Brethren. Rev. Noah Sellers, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the cemetery adjoining the church. Funeral Directors H. C. Geiple and Son, Glen Rock, are in charge of arrangements.
