She was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Higgins, Sr. Mrs. Boschen attended Mary Washington College and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Louis A. Boschen, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Boschen Bowers and David S. Bowers of Roanoke; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Jefferson Higgins, Jr. and Ruth Higgins of Fredericksburg; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rudolph and Bertha Boschen of Richmond; nephews and wives, Charles and Denise Sherer of Silver Springs, Md., Tommy and Anne Higgins of Fredericksburg; nieces, Jennifer Clarke of Upper Marlboro, Md., Judy Hoye of King George, Va.
