Corey J. Nelson, 22, of Elgin, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Sherman Hospital. He was born on February 11, 1986 in Elgin, the son of David and Mary Perfors.
Survivors include his parents; fiancée, Kelsey Kozak; his son, Corey, Jr; brothers, Josh, Chris, and Anthony; a sister, Kacy; grandfather, James Perfors; cousins, Ray, Tommy, Heather, Jenny, Shelly, Brandon, Charlene, Jaime, Brian, and Andrew; several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Dorothy Nelson and Marilyn Perfors.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Wait Ross Allanson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel, 51 Center St., Elgin. Burial will follow in Bluff City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM in the chapel.
