Memorial services for Anchorage resident Sandra K. Richards, 38, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Abbott Loop Christian Center, 2626 Abbott Road, with Richard Benjamin officiating. Mrs. Richards died March 9 at Providence Hospital after a lengthy illness with leukemia. Born Feb. 17, 1949, in Postfalls, Idaho, she had lived in Alaska the past four years. Before moving to Alaska, she was an activity director at the Monroe Convalescent Home in Monroe, Wash. She was an amateur nutritionist. She leaves her husband, Chuck, in Anchorage; a son, Sean Crosby of Monroe; her parents, Clarence and Betty Blumhagen of Lynnwood, Wash.; her brothers, Keith Blumhagen of Monroe, Richard, of Everett, Wash., and Leo Blumhagen of Michigan; and a sister, Betty, of Everett. Arrangements by Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
