Mr. Franklin F. Fowler, Sr., 67, of Barnesville died suddenly on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. He was the loving husband of Lena Jane Fowler. Born on June 18, 1944 in Virginia he was the son of the late Charles and Jennie Fowler.
Surviving besides his wife are two children, Penny Barton (David) of Boonsboro, Frank Fowler, Jr. (Rachel) of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Franklin III, Samantha, Stefanie; the grandchildren's mother, Beth Emory; eight brothers, five sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Fowler.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 11 from 5-8 p.m. at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road (Rt. 109), Barnesville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 12 at the Barnesville Baptist Church, 17917 Barnesville Road, Barnesville. Interment will follow in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Barnesville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 69, Barnesville, MD 20838.
