William A. Brandenburg, 75, of near Damascus died early Sunday morning at his home.
Born near Damascus a son of the late Oliver J. and Susan (Molesworth) Brandenburg, he was the husband of the late Bessie M. Brandenburg.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the National Amateur Trap Shooting Association.
Surviving are five children: Mrs. Gilmore Hurley of Damascus, W. Arnold Brandenburg of Kensington, Mrs. Edward Campbell of Troy, Michigan, Mrs. Albert Molesworth of Damascus, Jerrie E. Brandenburg, at home, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Elsie V. Gue, a half-brother, Tilghman J. Brandenburg, and a step-mother, Mrs. Carrie R. Brandenburg, all of Damascus.
Friends may call at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home in Damascus after 4 p.m. today.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Interment will be made in the Damascus Cemetery.
