Michael J. Geiss Sr., 91, of Syracuse died Sunday at Community-General Hospital.
Mr. Geiss was a graduate of Vocational High School and of Syracuse University.
He managed Brookfield Dairy and later owned Blue Ribbon Dairy for 30 years before retiring in 1979.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church and sang in the Syracuse University Glee Club, numerous church glee clubs and at the Leiderkranz Club.
His wife, the former Carmel Marie LaPenna, died in 1995 and a son, John P., died in 1991.
Surviving are four sons, Dr. Michael J. Jr., Thomas A. and Paul J., all of Syracuse , and Robert A. of Florida; a brother, Anthony J. of Syracuse ; three sisters, Lucy Fazio of California, Jennie Marioni of Seattle, Wash., and Florence Douque of Manlius; 14 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Pompei Church. Burial is in Assumption Cemetery.
