Caroline (Huck) Thiesing, 111, formerly of Bristol, widow of James Thomson and Arthur M. Thiesing, died on Friday, July 22, 2016, at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham, Mass.

Caroline was born in New Britain on July 10, 1905, and was a daughter of the late Adam Ulcas Huck and Wilhelmina (Rittner) Huck. She was a longtime Bristol resident before moving to be with her daughter in Framingham, Mass., 20 years ago. She worked as a clock maker at the former E. Ingraham Company.
Caroline was predeceased by her children: the noted fine artist, William D. Thomson, Arthur Thomson, and Caroline Guilmette, and her seven sisters. She leaves behind great-nieces, great-nephews, and her son-in-law, Paul Guilmette.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ashland Animal Hospital, 10 Fountain St., Ashland, MA 01721.
