Oscar's wife, Harriett's maiden name was Folmar, a daughter of Harvey S and Hattie E Davis Folmar.
Funeral services for Oscar Stickler
of Gibson were held Wednesday
at 2 p. m. at the Calvary Baptist
Church, Gibson following a
prayer service at 11:30 a. m. from
the residence. The Rev. A. J. Pagley,
pastor of the church, officiated.
Full military honors were con
ducted at the graveside in Fairview
Cemetery, Painted Post, by
members of J. P. Eaton and Faulisi
Whipple Posts, American Legion.
, Pallbearers were Clement Potts,
Robert Purcell, William Spencer,
Alex Naylor,' Wilber Hyland arid
Francis Spotts.
Firing squad was composed of
William Bately, John Strawser,
Bert Kimball, Carl Martin. William
Rose and Henry Phenes were
color bearers and William Phenes
blew taps. The flag was presented
to Mrs. Stickler at the conclusion
of the ceremony.
