Alamo Defender. He and his wife had emigrated to Texas and were settled in Nacogdoches, at the time of the out break of the Texas Revolution. He was one of the volunteers who accompanied Captain Philip Dimmitt to Bexar and into the Alamo garrison in the early months of 1836. He remained at the Alamo after Captain Dimmitt left on the first day of the siege and died in the final battle of the Alamo. Son of James and Susanna (Wesley)Wilson.
