- CHESTER - Mrs. Odell Worthy Wilburn, 79, of 104 Sweeney St. died Dec. 26, 1988, at Chester County Hospital. Funeral is 2 p.m. today at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Bauknight officiating. Burial will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Barron Funeral Home is in charge.
- Mrs. Wilburn, a retired textile employee, was born in Chester, the daughter of the late John and Frances Nelson Worthy. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
- She is survived by her son, Robert Wilburn Sr.; daughter, Mrs. Ruby Jean Wages; sisters, Mrs. Lillie Bishop and Mrs. Elma Whitesides; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
