Gary W. Kimball, 41, of 196 N. Main St., died Saturday at Franklin Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Franklin, the son of Wayne H. Kimball and Georgia (Manley) Kimball. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin. He attended Franklin High School and was a member of the Congregational Christian Church, UCC of Franklin. Since 1999, he had worked at the Wal-Mart in Tilton. Before that, he had been employed at the Merrimack County Nursing Home and Elkins Coffee Company in Bow. He was an avid NASCAR and Patriots fan. Survivors include his wife, Linda (Thompson) Kimball of Franklin; two stepsons, Dennis Hughes and Allen Hughes, both of Holderness; a stepdaughter, Abigail Oustecky, also of Holderness; his father and stepmother, Wayne H. Kimball and Linda (Patch) Kimball of Franklin; his mother, Georgia (Manley) Litzenburg of Casnovia, Michigan; two sisters, Wendy L. Kimball and Tanya M. Kimball, both of Franklin; a stepbrother; four half sisters; his maternal and paternal grandmothers; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A brother, Jeffery S. Kimball, and a stepbrother, Brian P. Gosselin, both died previously.
