Mrs. Pauline Sexton Butterworth
LINCOLN - Funeral service for Mrs. Pauline Sexton Butterworth, 96, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at Usrey Chapel with Dr. Allen Jinks officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. Mrs. Butterworth died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at her residence, Lincoln. She was a native of Clay Co. and lived most of her life in Talladega Co. She was a member of East Providence Baptist Church, was a retired farmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Butterworth; parents, stepmother, nine brothers, two sisters, and one granddaughter. Survivors are a son, Lewis Butterworth and deceased wife Mary of Pittsburgh; daughter, Bess Hay (Ron) of Ohatchee; son, Bill Butterworth (Beulah) of Pell City; daughter, Jo Wingo (Bob) of Eastaboga; son, Bud Butterworth (Wanda) of Melbourne, Fla.; daughter, Betty Barnell (Ken) of Moody; son, Willard Butterworth (Joan) of Lecta; son, P.D. Butterworth (Diane) of Eastaboga; son, Frank Butterworth (Mary) of Eastaboga; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at Usrey. Pallbearers will be Larry Sexton, David Butterworth, Steven J. Butterworth, Steven Butterworth, Kent Barnwell, Glenn Butterworth, Wayne Sexton, and Johnny Young. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct the service.
