Wife of William Ogle

Nancy Bohannon, daughter of Henry Bohannon and Amillia Burdine Shotwell was born in 1795 in Virginia. She married William "Black Bill" Ogle, son of William ( Billy ) Ogle and Martha Jane Huskey in 1810 in Sevier, Tennessee. He was born in 1790 in Edgefield, South Carolina. He died on 25 Aug 1855 in Sugarlands, Sevier, Tennessee.

William "Black Bill" Ogle and Nancy Bohannon had the following children:

i. JAMES OGLE born in 1812.

ii. WILLIAM W OGLE born on 07 Jan 1814 in Gatlinburg, Sevier, TN.

iii. SARAH "SALLY" OGLE born in Aug 1817 in Gatlinburg, Sevier, TN.

iv. JANE "JENNIE" OGLE born in 1818 in Gatlinburg, Sevier, TN.

v. MARY OGLE born in 1820 in White Oak Flats, Sevier, TN.

vi. AARON OGLE born in 1822 in White Oak Flats, Sevier, TN.

vii. HENRY OGLE born in Mar 1824 in White Oak Flatts, Sevier, Tennessee.

viii. RACHEL OGLE born in 1826 in Sevier, Tennessee.

ix. ELIZABETH OGLE born in 1826 in White Oak Flats, Sevier, TN.

x. AMILLIA OGLE born on 01 Apr 1831 in Gatlinburg, Sevier, TN.

xi. MARTHA OGLE born on 05 Jun 1833 in White Oak Flats, Sevier, TN

Notes: Nancy was living with a son, William (Ned) Ogle in 1860. It is said that she was buried with her husband in a very old cemetery near Huskey Gap in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This must be the Cole Cemetery.
