Alfred Snyder, 75, of Mundelein, died July 31, 1982 at his home.
He was born in Ivanhoe Feb. 7, 1907 and had been a resident of the Mundelein area all of his life.
He was a member of the Mundelein Community Protestant Church and had served on the Building Committee and numerous other committees of the church. He had been a contractor in Mundelein for more than 40 years. Mr. Snyder also serves ed as secretary for the Ivanhoe Cemetery Association.
Survivors include his widow, Amber; one daughter, Audrey (Dennis) Rohlinger, Buffalo Grove and one sister, Henrietta Daniles, Cheteck, Wis.
Services were Aug 2 at the Community Protestant Church in Mundelein, with Pastor Kenneth Press officiating. Interment was in the Ivanhoe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mundelein Community Protestant Church of the Ivanhoe Cemetery Association in Mr. Snyder's memory. Arrangements were handled by the Kristan Funeral Home, 219 W. Maple Ave., Mundelein.
