Lloyd attended and graduated from Concordia schools. He enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Alaska. Lloyd married Bettie Howell on Feb. 4, 1944, in Chanute. She preceded him in death on Oct. 19, 2008.
He retired from Southern Pacific Railroad in California in 1976 after working for 34 years.
Lloyd and Bettie made their homes in California and Utah, moving 32 times before making their home in Concordia after retirement. Lloyd was a member of The Baptist Church and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 76 and VFW Post 588.
He also was a past trustee of the Cloud County Museum.
Survivors include his sister, Ruth Campbell, of Jackson, Mich.; grandchildren, Michelle Feasel, of Burleson, Texas, and Corinne Hale, of Weatherford, Texas; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie; son, Anthony "Tony" Feasel; parents; seven brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. Sixth, P.O. Box 606, Concordia 66901. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at The Baptist Church, Concordia, with Dennis Knapp officiating, followed by burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.
