Services for Richard C. Webb, 71, 503 E. Monroe, Olney, who died Friday, July 26, in his home, were held in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Father Jim Buerster presiding. Burial was in Crest Haven Cemetery.
Mr. Webb was born July 30, 1913 in Geneva, Ind., the son of George and Mary (Studer) Webb. He married Loretta M. Deimel Aug. 20, 1940, and she died the day after he did.
He was a Union Oil Company employee for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW and was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include two brothers, Ernest Webb of Geneva, Ind. and Virgil Webb of Bridgeport; three sisters, Arvad Webb and Mrs. Velma Koinsan, both of Bridgeport, and Maxine Compton of Springfile, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
