Sheboygan Press. Fri. Nov. 3, 1978, p. 12, c. 5. Clement B. Schoenborn Sr., 68, of 8711 Northeim Lane, Newton, died Thursday afternoon at St. Nicholas Hospital after a short illness. He was born Oct. 26, 1910, at Marytown, the son of Jacob and Gertrude Gilles Schoenborn. On Feb. 10, 1930, he married Adela Popp at Kiel. He was employed at the Kiel Woodenware Co. and later at the Kohler Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1972. Mr. Schoenborn was a charter member and secretary and first key member of the Newton Lions Club. Survivors are his wife; three sons; a daughter; six grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur, William and Leo, all of California, and a sister, Mrs. Clarice Colvin of California. Three brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, Newton. The Rev. Robert Stuebbe, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and until 11:30 a.m. Monday and at the church from noon until the time of services.
