Mr. Booth was born in Stockton, Utah on June 24, 1888 and died in a Bakersfield hospital Wednesday evening.
He moved to Taft in 1948 and was employed by the County of Kern as a carpenter for 20 years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Taft Ward and was a charter member of the Taft Senior Citizens Club.
Mr. Booth is survived by his two sons, his five grandchildren and his 11 great grandchildren.
