FRITCH - Funeral services for Leo Arvil Holland, 73, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Sunray Bible Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Mr. Holland died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital.
He had lived in Fritch for 3 1/2 years and had lived in the Dumas and Sunray areas since 1945. He was born in New Mexico. He was retired from Diamond Shamrock Corp. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a son, Wendell Holland of Amarillo; five daughters, Mrs. Joveta Cooper of Amarillo, Mrs. Shirley Gunn of Brownfield, Mrs. Donna Washburn of Sunray, Mrs. Sue Thompson of Abilene and Mrs. Sharon Dugan of Perryton; five stepsons, Russell "Red" Steagall of Azle, Carroll Steagall of Borger, Barry Steagall and David Steagall, both of Chickasha, Okla.; and Danny Steagall of Fort Worth; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Sue Anne Aldrich of Odessa; a brother, V.A. Holland of Amarillo; 29 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
