Mrs. Grubb Dead
Mrs. William Grubb who had been suffering since Saturday from a stoppage of the bowels and was operated on Thursday afternoon by Dr. Surber of Independence and Drs. Sharpe and Moorehead of this city died last Friday about midnight, her ease proving to be beyound medical assistance.
Mrs. Grubb's maiden name was Snavely. Her parents who died several years ago owned a farm southeast of Neodesha. Two brothers survive her, Steve and J. D. Snavely. Mr. and Mrs. Grubb have been living on the Ott farm for nearly one year. She leaves a husband and one daughter aged 12 or 13 years. Funeral occurs Saturday at 10 o'clock.
