Death of Mrs. John Spry.
Mrs. John Spry, a respected resident of Cemetery street, died at noon today at her home after a brief illness with acute indigestion. Mrs. Spry had been in ill health for some time but lately had been better. She was taken suddenly ill yesterday. The decedent is survived by her husband and several sons and daughters. Funeral arrangements have not been decided.

FUNERAL SERVICES
For Mrs. Olive Spry Were Held This Afternoon
Funeral services for Mrs. Olive Spry, wife of Mr. Edward Spry, were held at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the family home on Cemetery street, Rev. Thompson, of Trinity church, being in charge of the services. The burial was in Springdale cemetery.
Mrs. Spry was in the 51st year of her age and was born in Jennings county. Besides her husband she is survived by eight children, as follows: Three daughters, Mesdames Lola Berry, Vincennes; Maud Berry, city, and Myrtle Bowman, Louisville; and five sons, Everett, city; John, Indianapolis; Virgil, city; Willard and Clifford, at home. Clifford, the youngest child, is 14 years of age. All the members of the family were at the bedside and were devoted in the attentions to their wife and mother. the family has lived in Madison a number of years and is well liked and respected. The decedent was the kindest and best of mothers and was idolized by her family.
The pall-bearers were four sons and two sons-in-law of the decedent as follows:
