Mrs. Ellen Catherine Wilmot, 77, one of the Kiski Valley's Pioneer residents, died Monday at 7:05 p.m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sherman Blystone, North Apollo.
She was born at Export, Westmoreland County, December 17, 1855.
Mrs. Wilmot is survived by these children: Mrs. Blystone, Mrs. John Mulholland, Oklahoma, Mrs. Lee Weir, Vandergrift, and John and William. Twenty-eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held in the Blystone home Thursday afternoon at 2:30 with the Rev. M.L. Clare of the First Lutheran church in charge. Mrs. Wilmot was buried in the Vandergrift Cemetery.
