She was born the daughter of Allen and Birdie (Bark) Hallmark on July 23, 1941, at the Old Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, OK. She passed over Nov. 11, 2011 from her residence in Tahlequah.
Juanita was a loving, caring person who never met a stranger. Juanita was a devout Christian and had many musical talents and loved to sing Christian music. For many years she had a band. Calvary Baptist Church was her home church with Pastor Paul Stewart.
Juanita was married to Roy E. Towie who passed in ‘05. She has also been preceded in death by her parents; a sister Pauline Hallmark and a brother Marion Hallmark.
She has a vast number of family and friends surviving her, including children she raised along; a special nephew in her heart; niece; three sisters, *; and many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
Graveside funeral services for Juanita Towie, 70, of Tahlequah will be 2:30 Wed. Nov. 16, 2011, in the Towie Cemetery. Officiating will be Reverend Paul Stewart and Chaplain Bill Holcomb. Interment will follow under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.
