Nee Cora Ramminger, she was born Sept. 8, 1881 in Greenwood, Wis., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Ramminger. She came to Plymouth in 1890 where she attended public schools. On June 12, 1900, she was married to William Kassebaum. The couple celebrated they golden wedding anniversary in 1950. Mrs. Kassebaum was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, at Plymouth, Loyalty Chapter No. 18, Order of Eastern Star, and the auxiliary to the sons of Union Veterans.
Survivors are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Cooke, a teacher at Marinette, Wis., two brothers, Alfred Ramminger, Manitowoc and Edward of Plymouth, and a sister, Mrs. Walter Luth, Iron Mountain, Mich. A son, Roland preceded her in death.
