RICHARDSON MAN KILLED IN VIETNAM
Army Spec. 4 Kenyon G. Wellman Jr., 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenyon G. Wlllman of 205 Abrams Road, Richardson, was killed in action in Vitenam Friday, the Department of Defense announced Tuesday. Wellman was with the 25th Infantry Division. Born in Abilene, he had been a Dallas resident from 1948 until 1960. He moved with his family to Wichita falls, but returned to the Dallas area two years agon. A Graduate of Hillcrest High School, Willman attended El Centro Junior College. He had been in the Army since February and in Vietnam for about four months. Survivors: Parents; a step-brother, Phillip Fielder of Richardson, and grandparents, Mrs. Erma Wellman of Dallas and C. J. Jeffus of Plano. Funeral arrangements are pending with Restland Funeral Home.
