The memorial service for Chad A. Lombard will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 11th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel in Lake City, MN with Pastor Alan Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Oronoco Cemetery in Oronoco, MN.
Mr. Lombard, 42, of rural Mazeppa, MN died Monday, November 7, 2011 at his home in the Lake Zumbro area.
Chad Allen Lombard was born October 26, 1969 in Rochester, MN to Charles and Ruth (Sommerfield) Lombard. Chad attended elementary and high school at Lake City, MN graduating in 1988 from Lincoln High School. He lived in the Zumbro Falls area from 1970 to 2004 and then moved to the Lake Zumbro area. Chad was employed by the Mayo High School in Rochester, MN from 1991 to the time of his death. On October 14, 2000 he married Julie Turner in Mazeppa, MN. Chad enjoyed going hunting, 4-wheeling, and liked to work on small engines. He was a former member of the Zumbro Falls Fire Department, and a member of the Teamsters Union.
Chad is survived by his wife, Julie Lombard of Mazeppa, MN; three daughters, Kalli Lombard of Rochester, MN and Sarah Lombard and Kara Lombard both of Mazeppa, MN; his parents, Charles and Ruth Lombard of Lake City, MN; and one brother, Chuck Lombard of Lake City, MN. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends and family may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel in Lake City, MN, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
