Lafayette Edwards, 76, of Parkson Road, Livingston Manor, died April 26 in the Liberty Loomis Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Cooley, Town of LIberty, Dec. 3, 1889, he was the son of William and Isabelle Ross. He married Anna Conklin.
He was employed as a laborer.
He is survived by his wife at home four sons, Richard, Lafayette, Jr., Aquila and Elmer; and a brother, George Edwards of Livingston Manor.
Funeral services were held Friday at Ramsay Funeral Home, Liberty, with the Rev. Robert Gevert of the Liberty Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Orchard Street Cemetery, Livingston Manor.
