Lawrence Olin Gould, 77 of 853 32nd, died Saturday; Sept. 10, 1983, at his home of heart failure.

He was born Dec. 8, 1905, in Eden, a son of William Simpson and Anne Gould.

He married LaVerda Weaver Aug. 20, 1924, in Salt lake City. They were later divorced. He married Alice Hansen May 31, 1969, in Brigham City, She died June 3, 1969. He married Kaye (Shuman) Sparkman on Jan. 19, 1970, in Ogden.

He had been yardmaster for the OUR & D Co., retiring in 1972, after 48 years of service.

He was a lifelong resident of Weber County and attended Weber County schools.

He was an elder in the Mount Ogden 44th LDS Ward.

He had worked at the Eagles Lodge for several years.

He was a charter member of the Ogden Eagles Lodge Aerie No. 2472.

Surviving are his widow of Ogden, four sons and one daughter, Lawrence V. Gould, Long Beach, Calif.; Carl W. Gould, Roy; Jay D. Gould, Eden; LaVern W. Gould, Ogden; Mr.s Bradley (Kay) Alldredge, Sunset; one stepson, and three stepdaughters, Dale T. Sparkman, Boston, Mass,; Mrs. Bonnie Hill, Ogden; Mrs. Kenneth (Denice) Terkelson, Clearfield; and Miss DeAnn Sprarkman, Boston, Mass.; 21 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Laura Montgomery, Eden; and Miss Mary Gould, Farr West.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel in Ogden with Bishop Gayle Jensen officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday on hour prior to services.

Interment in Washington Heights Memorial Park.
