John Marshall Aitkins, 54, died Wednesday night in the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
He was a former Radford resident and has lived in Charlottesville for the past five years. He was a retired Life Insurance Company of Virginia agent.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Dorothy Williams Atkins; one Son. John M. Atkins, Jr., both of Charlottesville; his mother and father, Mr and Mrs. O. O. Atkins of Radford; one sister, Mrs. Walter Miller of Radburn, N. J. one brother, O. O. Atkins, Jr. of Radford.
The body was brought to the DeVilbiss Furieral Home pending arrangements. Funeral services will be announced when completed.
