Died At Indianapolis On His Way Home.
Was Popular At Lynn.
----------------------------------------------------------
Lynn, Ind., Sept. 13 - The relatives of Ernest Hinshaw received a message early Thursday morning telling of his serious illness in Indianapolis. Mr. Hinshaw, accompanied by C. W. Bowers, of this place, left about a month ago, for a trip to the Rockies, in Colorado, for the benefit of his health. No improvement was noticeable, however, and on the return trip, Mr. Hinshaw collapsed in Chicago, but lived until he could reach Indianapolis, where he was taken to the home of his aunt, and his wife and parents were notified. They reached his side early in the day, but death came to him about 5 p.m. His body will be brought to this place on an afternoon train.

Suggested edit: Ernest was at the least born out of wedlock as he was born before Ora Hinshaw marries Stephen Orlando Adams in 1891. Whether he is the father is unclear. Ernest as shown as being born in 1877 on the 1900 census. with no attempt to point out a different last name. His marriage application confirmed by grandfather Jacob Hinshaw states 1874 which would make him 21 at the time of marriage. His marriage registration indicates Stephen Adams as a father. His death certificate indicates parents were Stephen Adams and Mrs Ora Adams with the informant Mrs Ora Adams. Ernest died from diabetes. His wife dies 3 years later from Tuberculosis
