The Frederick Post - November 15, 1966
Charles Arthur Bussard, formerly of Frederick, a veteran of World War II, and more recentaly residing in Savannah, Ga., died Saturday in the Memorial Hospital of Savannah.
Mr. Bussard was born in Brunswick on March 13, 1920 and was son of the late Joseph Henry and Elsie Naomi Norris Bussard.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Thelma Caldwell Bussard, Jacksonville, Fla., and the following children; Charles Arthur Bussard, Jr., Calif., John Bussard, Washington, D.C., Dale Bussard and Cheryl Bussard, both of Jacksonville, and three brothers, Joseph H. Bussard Jr., Greensboro, N.C., William J. Bussard, York, Pa., and John Edward Bussard, Annapolis.
Mr. Bussard was employed in the construction business and had been a superintendent of construction.
Friends may call at the Etchison Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, after 4 p.m. today and from there services will take place Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Robert F. Woodward, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
