Hildegarde Kruse, 98, died Sunday, January 27, 2002 in Coleman County Medical Center. Born May 10, 1903 in Rockdale, Texas, to Henry and Lena Henniger, they moved to Runnels County when Hildagarde was a small child. She graduated from Winters High School and went to Draughon's Business School in Abilene.
She married Walter Kruse on August 11, 1926 in Runnels County. Survived by two sons, Kenneth and his wife, Freda, and Donald and his wife, Marie, and daughter-in-law, Bo Dean Kruse; eight grandchildren and six great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, a son Harry, an infant son and a 2-year-old daughter Maurine and grandson Kenny Kruse.
