He was born October 19, 1940, in Walnut Ridge, AR., and was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Trellis Alexander Colburn, daughter, Carrie Colburn and one sister, Inez Moody.
He is survived by wife, Marilyn Colburn of the home; sons, Samuel Colburn of Hoxie, Tommy Colburn of Columbus, Geogia, Matthew Colburn of Paragould, Bobby Gates of Hoxie and Joe Johnson of Walnut Ridge; daughters, Tammy Winfrey of Walnut Ridge and Mendy Ozbun of Bono; 18 grand-children; 14 great grandchildren and one on the way.
A Memorial Service was held at the Main Street Church of Christ in Walnut Ridge, under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
