COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Dolly Marie Bingham, 83, of Chestnut Mound, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Vinson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, and from 7 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bingham died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Jackson County to the late Arthur and Myrtle Brown Lawson.

Mrs. Bingham was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ faith.

Her family includes a daughter and son-in-law, Audra Jean Lambert Young and Jesse Young of Chestnut Mound; two grandchildren, Scotty Young and wife Tracy of Chestnut Mound and Sheena Young of Watertown; and two great-grandchildren, Ty and wife Antles Young and K.C. Clary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gustis Lambert; a brother, Edward Lawson; and a sister, Louise Birdwell.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Bro. Ronald Strong will officiate at the services.
