Rebecca Bingham was born in 1790 in Virginia and was the daughter of George Washington Bingham and Louisa Vest Bingham. She married Wyatt Bingham on July 12, 1812, in Orange County, Virginia. They had one daughter, Rebecca Wyatt Bingham in 1821, she married John Anthony Trigg.
-Rebecca was the aunt of George Caleb Bingham, after the death of her mother-in-law and her daughter in 1851 she moved to St. Louis to assist with George's young children. His first wife passed away, he re-married, and then his 2nd wife had a child, then was in a mental hospital for the remainder of her life, so George needed his Aunt and others to assist in raising his children until she died in 1869. She was buried in Union Cemetery.
