married Nov. 14th 1728
In 1772 a petition signed by 100
citizens of Plymouth was presented
to the selectmen asking them to call
a meeting of the citizens to consider
the farther continued violation of
Popular Rights. At this meeting a
committee of three was appointed
(of which Samuel Cole was one) to
communicate with similar committees
from other towns. After the death of
Samuel Cole his widow m. Barnabas Hedge.
