Her obituary in 1937:

I, J. C. Mosley, of Raven, Ky., being requested by the children of Sister Hannah Tuttle to write a small sketch in the form of an obituary of their dear mother, to-wit: Sister Hannah Tuttle, who died and left this world a short time ago. She was the wife of Brother Thomas Tuttle. She was born in the State of Tennessee about 1860 and came to this country several years ago and was married to Tom Tuttle about 1880. Unto them were born twelve children, seven boys and five girls of which the most of them are still living. Sister Hannah joined the Regular Baptist and took fellowship with the Caney Fork Church of the Old Regular Baptists, where she remained until death, living in fellowship with the brethren and sister for about forty years. She seemed to love to fill her seat in the church with the brethren and sisters and to manifest her love for them and the great cause of God. She loved to hear the sweet singing of the good old songs of Zion and the preaching of the gospel of Christ. Sister Hannah is done meeting with us here in this world but we believe her soul is at rest with God, where we believe all her troubles are over. She is greatly missed by her children and many friends whom she left behind to mourn the loss of a dear and kind mother. I had known sister Hannah for many years before she died, even while her husband was living. They both belonged to the old Caney Fork Church of Regular Baptists and lived a quite and agreeable life together as far as I know. They gave their children good counsel and tired to raise them right. So I will say to her children, those who have accepted and heeded father's and mother's good counsel, go right on, hold out faithful and if there is any of the family who are yet in sin may they turn to the Lord and prepare to meet father and mother in the better world.
