Columbia, Conn. -- Mary Rupp, 81, died March 15, 1982 at Windham Hospital, Willmantic, Conn. Born May 8, 1900 at Hays, she married Jacob A. Rupp. He died in 1969.
She had lived in Columbia, Conn., for several years and was a former resident of Great Bend. She was a member of St. Columbia Church in Connectieut.
Survivors: sons, Gilbert, Peculiar, Mo., Arthur, Brownell, Gary, Wheaton, Md.; daughters, Mrs. Steve Brooks, Ulysses, Mrs. Newman Bowen, Columbia, Conn.; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Friday at Brantley-Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church, Great Bend; the Rev. William A. Vogel, the Rev. Eugene Sloan and the Rev. Jesse Venzor. Burial at Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at Brantley-Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend.
