Janet J. Jorn (nee Mahoney) died Nov. 29 in Peggy's House at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.
Born in Bloomfield, Mrs. Jorn was raised in Maplewood and lived in Kenilworth for 40 years before moving to Hillsborough 12 years ago.
She worked in Customer Service for the Schering-Plough Corp. in Kenilworth for 25 years before retiring. Mrs. Jorn was an avid shopper and traveler.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, George C. Jorn. Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Ann Muthard and her husband, David; a son, George J. Jorn and his wife, Janis, and three grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda and Michael.
The funeral was on Dec. 2, from the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, Westfield with a Mass that followed at St. Theresa's R.C. Church, Kenilworth. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
