Plymouth—Mrs. Emogene Mariam Gardner, age 84, died Sunday after an illness of five months,. She was born Sept. 13, 1856, in the town of Plymouth, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Lindsay. She was married July 15, 1883, to Edwin Gardner, and lived in Plymouth until her husband's death in 1918. Since that time she had lived with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kaestner, near Plymouth. In August of this year she moved to the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Vera Gardner, in this city.
Survivors are her daughter and daughter-in-law, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and a brother, Jacob Lindsay of Kiel. Her husband, a daughter, Helen, and a son, Alex, preceded her in death.
