Born June 16, 1915, in Peoria, to Lester W. and Margaret Wall Haney, she married John “Hank” Burbridge. He preceded her in death. She later married Floyd E. Watkins on Jan. 9, 1986, in Pekin. He preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1996.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Henry “Hank” Burbridge and Charles Burbridge.
Surviving are one sister, Viola (Donald) Smith; four stepdaughters; one stepson; four grandchildren, Cindy Kavanaugh, Rodney Burbridge, Patti (Tim) Johnston and Lesley Burbridge; six great-grandchildren and several stepgreat- and stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Eleanor worked at Pekin Glass & Mirror and later at Parkview Golf Course in Pekin. She was a member of First Christian Church in Pekin, the Elizabeth Circle and the Women of the Moose in Pekin.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin, with the Rev. Michael K. Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church in Pekin.
Additional survivors include a daughter-in-law, Patricia Burbridge and a sister-in-law, Patricia Haney.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Ralph Haney.
