James McCuistion served with the Confederate Army during the Civil War being wounded at Murfreesboro and Chickamauga and surviving both times. He was a school teacher in Tennessee, Missouri and Arkansas. Left Coffee Co., Tennessee for Izard Co., Arkansas on 19 Jan 1880.
