Floyd R. Campbell, 94, formerly of Gwinner, N.D., died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards.

There will be no visitation or services.

Floyd was born Jan. 22, 1910, in Stirum, N.D., to James and Amy (Robinson) Campbell. He married Doris Hanson on Sept. 25, 1935, in Sargent County, N.D. Floyd was a farmer in Gwinner for 37 years. He and his wife Doris then retired to Mesa, Ariz., where they lived for 26 years. They then moved to Wisconsin Rapids in 1998.

He is survived by his wife, Doris of Port Edwards; four sons, Dennis (Barb) Campbell of Oklahoma City, Okla., Donavon (Judy) Campbell of Eden Prairie, Minn., Gary (Katie) Campbell of Port Edwards, and James (Roxie) Campbell of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Henry (Lucille) Campbell of Lincoln, Neb., Donald (Phyllis) Campbell of Ocala, Fla., and James "Max" Campbell of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Carol Dotzenrod of Wahpeton, N.D.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Elizabeth, Dorothy and Isabelle, and grandson, Jody Campbell.

Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids handled all arrangements.
